Dr Death

by oliver818

A bold, cruel doctor examined faithful geriatrics. He injected, jabbed, killing liquid, making numerous old people quietly, resentfully, succumb. Tenderly, unreservedly, victims wept. X-rays yielded zip.

Alphabet Story contest entry

This is sadly based on the true story of Harold Shipman, nicknamed the doctor of Death, a family doctor in the UK who killed hundreds of his pensioner-aged patients for no apparent reason. Many of them had been his patients for years and trusted him implicitly. He injected them with a deadly dose of Diamorphine, and covered up his tracks by having the bodies cremated as quickly as possible. He was only found out when he got too arrogant and began killing without taking any precautions to hide it.

I'm hoping beyond hope that x-rays can be accepted as one word.
