A chapter in the book Love Parts 2

Tell Me True

by Barb Hensongispsaca

My dearest, darling, tell me true,
do you feel just the way I do?

Do your feet walk above the ground,
and do you hear the softest sounds?

Do your toes curl with strange delight;
confusion blurs the wrong from right?

I'll bet the sun shines when it rains
'till rainbows come...tis all remains.

Do mountains seem like little hills,
and small embraces bring on chills?

Do you feel goose bumps when I'm near,
then my departure bring a tear?

As butterflies invade your dreams,
do thoughts of me become their theme?

All flower's fragrance twice as sweet,
my skin is chilled despite the heat.

My breath is shallow, hard to breathe.
When you're not near I want to grieve.

We are as one, my love is true,
my life, my dear, I pledge to you.
