Back where I come from we say please and thank you "Ma'am."
We love Grits and ham, biscuits and gravy. Yes, Ma'am, some of them fried Taters.

Next, we'd like some of Hoppin John and some of your fresh corn bread with butter.
Southern fried chicken would also go with our southern country supper.

Sliced fried green tomatoes, sweet tea and a slice of homemade apple pie.
Down here in the south we like to sit on our back porch eating goobers.

You come to a sudden stop when a Lady says," Just hold onto your Britches young man."
Come on over here a minute as she reaches over the counter to put my change in my hand.

Don't you be a part of that clan down by the river called Skeeters, "You be The Bennet?"
No ma'am, I can't say as I am. Right off hand I can't say as I've ever heard of them.

I best be on my way back ma'am. I got horses to tend and chickens to feed. Gonna shoot some ducks for tomorrows sup.
Got to Haul Buggy back up the hill and back to the fields to get some more corn to shuck.

Hope you like it out of practice with the southern drawl. For those who don't know what hopping john, it is blackeye peas, cooked with hog jowls or ham hock served over rice.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
