God is ever gracious to blind people

Fred Abide Abides

by Deniz22

Here lies old Fred Abide,
who often boldly God defied.

Took his fill of every sin,
daring God to kill him, with a grin.

Heard the Gospel 'fore he died,
Was saved from being fried.

Now Fred Abide does abide,
With the God he once defied.

Witty Epitaph writing prompt entry
Writing Prompt
Write a short, humorous epitaph for the tombstone of an imaginary person.

Why should we have trouble accepting the word and authority of our Creator? Especially since He has provided His own Son (whom He loves beyond comprehension) to shed His sinless blood to pay our sin debt? Believing Christ takes away fear and guilt, and actually begins the spiritual transformation which will culminate in us actually seeing Jesus. John 5:24
