What you mean to me
Here is what I’d say ….
You found me when I was alone
In a crowded room
And made my heart smile
You’ve been steadfastly by my side
As I’ve had to say goodbye
To family
We’ve watched each other’s hair
Turn gray
(Admittedly, I fought it tooth and nail)
Remembering what great adventures we’ve had
Places we’ve seen
Friends we’ve made
Memories meant to last a lifetime
Now, as my eyes close for the last time
Know that it’s your face, your love
I’ll carry with me
I’ll not say “goodbye” my love
Only
Till we meet again
