Valentine Acrostic

Sweet Night

So many honeyed, magic moons ago,

We wandered hand in hand, on such a night.

Entangled vines of jasmine cloaked our dreams,

Enveloped us in blossom set adrift

To crown our new-found love with perfumed stars.


Now look, where once again the jasmine gleams

In glossy clusters, glimmered by the moon.

Give me your hand, my love, my Valentine.

Here shall we walk another time and let

The float of stardust kiss our silver hair.
