Today

Today is not just another day
It helps me walk along life's troubled way
I take one slow step at a time
Knowing that one day soon Heaven will be mine.

Today I go about doing my daily chores
Stopping by to see all my cats and adore
I roam around my house seeing what I can and cannot do
I am happy just being me and somehow staying true

I hope you enjoy my poem for this day
Just know it won't ever come again this same way
Just live one moment at a time
Then surely you will come to understand One Day at a Time!!!
