As an artist of life, I tend to just stare
At the beauty around I become aware
We can see the world in a different light
With a palette of upbeat words to write

To wake up and know where I belong
Feel joy at the sound of birdsong
Our canvas of life should be luminous
The choices of colours are numerous

The hews of a rainbow across the blue skies
Ever changing chameleon's in grand disguise
The smiling moon doing a night time dance
Urging us on to give life a willing chance
