Climb to Opening Eden

by GregoryCody

A silk dress slips from her shoulders,
running down naked silhouette
to cascade in shallow spirals ~
maestro seducing the wind

I place hungry lips to her nape;
virgin fuzz plays against my cheeks

Bouquet of lilac and lavender petals
radiate from her like burning ice;
seductive aroma pulls me closer

Crooked moonlight shimmers off her nectar,
sweat runs in pools under creamy hills ~
ambrosia of lovers unreined

Gentle touch to bare skin sends chills
between us, erecting my curiosity
for an anything more of her ~
we are animals behind the night

Within each moment, upon every touch
our bodies weave into themselves;
wrestling passion, biting lust, carrying
eternity inside her rising breath

Spreading pillars, squeezing narrow chasm,
sliding outside reservations, breaking into deep,
pausing to watch her beg for more of me...

I tip toe on steps towards opening Eden

Screams bustle down hollow walkways,
walls tremble, flakes of chipped plaster
sprinkle over sculptures of flesh like muted snow;
she gnaws on wet fabric to muffle her climb

Rapids to waning stream, we swim the same current,
racing past regret, content...we fall back to begin again
