eerie mist lingers
in valleys of Irish hills
owl screeches

Write a haiku about mist, fog, smog or haze
(not of the mind)

-17 syllables or less
-two lines of grammatically interconnected concrete imagery
-a satori line of reflection or observation
-a kigo, seasonal reference
-personification allowed
-artwork allowed but poem must stand alone
-no author's notes
-short-long-short format
-title must be: haiku (first line of poem)
-minimal punctuation and capitalization
-no strict end rhymes
