Butterflies

by magic dragon

Butterflies fluttering in the sky,
cocoons are left empty, they have flown away.
Blue skies astir on this spring day,
in the garden they pass you by.

Nature they beautify,
gentleness they portray.
Butterflies fluttering in the sky,
cocoons are left empty, they have flown away.

Flowerbeds they do occupy,
colours that are sublime, on display.
A bow and butterfly, attached to a bouquet,
catch them in nets, so you can identify,
butterflies fluttering in the sky.
