~A fun poem for Valentines Day ~
~ Valentine Feelings ~

Valentines Day can bring on so much fun
A man giving you a soft gentle touch
In the shower mist is drawn an etched heart
Makes me believe this guy might be sort of smart
But being alone on this particular day
Can give off a feeling of being in pure dismay
It's alright everyone I just survived it all alone
Except wow..I did receive a small text on my phone
Yet Valentines Day can be a day of romantic bliss
To have your sweetie give you a yummy kiss
Or maybe make love over again all night long
And in the background is playing your favorite song
This year my kids were my special Valentines
It's always a blessing to have them as mine
Don't let it get you all gloomy and sad
The next morning you'll awake realizing it wasn't so bad

** Valentines Day has a stereotype that you just must have a special romantic love on that day. That's so not true because I was solo this year and instead of a man, I had my children be mine!! It was great fun and they make fabulous Valentines. Here's to hoping everyone had a wonderful and memorable day either way!! **
