Be Careful Who

by nomi338

Be careful who
You show your crazy to
If you are too convincing
They may decide to keep you

They may decide to lock you up
And throw away the key
Then you just might become
The new circus monkey

Hold on to your sanity
Don't forget who you are
The circus may be in town
You don't have to be the star

Bad things happen all the time
Learn to just let it go
Sit with me in the audience
And let's enjoy the show.

Sometimes we go overboard with our response to life's little upsets. If we make too much of it we may just go too far and we might be put out of our misery into a place that increases our misery many times over. Learn to let it go. Many thanks to Annie-Angel for the use of her art Jelly Bean.
