Not one hundred percent clear on its proper definition.
I mean everyone reacts differently I suppose.

A creature which appears to have crawled straight from the bowels of hell,
torments my daily activities.

I hurried off the end of my porch one morning.
I instantly found myself entangled in a silky fiber.

The neighbor watched as I danced fanatically across the lawn.
I fell... I struck my head against the bumper of my truck.

The spider observed in horror as I destroyed its home.
consciousness left my body for three days.

Distress, anxiety, putrid fear.
