Cupid's revenge

Broken hearts
dressed in disappointment
spin the wheel-one more time;
storm chasers,
hot on the heels
of yesterday's thrill
scan a turbulent sky,
choking
on the bitter taste
of lingering lust-
imagined
trailing in their sisters' dust.

Open the gate
run the bulls-
girls' night out
2/14;
pandering panache-
plotting
Cupid's revenge.
