Singer in my life

From once To Once Again

by Walter L. Jones

Caught myself a taxi
In a pouring rain
Found me a woman
My life can't ever been the same

It is a craving for the music to be free
And the marking of her soul
Really moves me
Just strip
And a kiss away
From the brown stone
To the hall of fame

Now in the melody
Rides the spirt
That sets us free
Just a chain and ball away

From Batonruge to the interstate
Hound dogs on my trail
Muddy rive
Barge setting sail
You know I am bound and weave
Just eh other side of mason
On permanent leave

And lady luck is playing every side of me

It is a craving for the music to be free
And the marking of her soul
Really moves me
Just strip
And a kiss away
From the brown stone
To the hall of fame
