The Little Fairy Girl

by giraffmang

At the bottom of the garden
There is a teeny, tiny house
Which is painted green and gold
And is smaller than a mouse.

In the teeny, tiny house
There lives a little fairy girl
Who likes to play, and sing, and laugh,
And dance, and spin, and twirl.

The teeny, tiny fairy
Has a very cheeky smile.
She wears a lot of pink and purple
And walks around with style.

She loves being in the garden
In which she likes to go for walks.
She runs about, in and out,
Between the flower stalks.

She uses lots of magic
To make the garden grow,
And waters everything in sight
To make the flowers glow.

Of course we cannot see her
Because she is too small,
And if you did, the grown-ups would say
She isn't there at all.

But you and I know better
Of little sounds and rustling leaves
Grown-ups are much too sensible
Its only children who believe

In magical garden kingdoms
And of the little fairy girl
Who underneath the flowers
Loves to sing and dance and whirl!
