Writing Prompt Writing Prompt write a haiku about the ocean or its manifestations -Two lines of grammatically interconnecting concrete imagery -a seasonal reference or inference -a satori line of reflection or observation. -personification allowed -artwork ok, but the poem must stand alone -no animation, videos or music -17 syllables OR LESS -short-long-short format -title must be haiku(first line of poem) -description box must only state contest entry and the syllable count, for example: contest entry (5-7-5) -no author's notes -minimal punctuation and capitalization -no end rhyming |
