Passion-a poem that encapsulates my view of Jesus ' death

Passion

by Catherineam

Mary my love,tender care
Lifted your Jesus above
He was the apple of your eye
He made the miseries of mankind die
How radiant was his face
The memory !oh even a
Sword can never erase.
Lo! To every man's eyes
Holiest divine made him a prize
Betrayed was he
By one of the twelve 'we'.
It was'nt to the son of man's dismay
For he knew the Heavenly Father's way.
But oh!cruel things in an array
Human self bled out in pain
Spiritual calling was truly main
In dire need for water
A plea he did'st make
His love so strong!
My heart weeps to belong
Cruelty in its harshest voice and
Satan's kith and kin crooned
My loving Lord swooned
Maria! Helplessly you bade goodbye
Lord embraced the flawless flower fly and spoke
Oh sweet ! Sweet! Jesus
My love !My Son!
Oh sweetest Prince of love
Come my dearest come to me
Magdalene,Jesus ' faithful disciple carried
Aloe and myrrh to her master
To caress infinite wound and blister.
She cried!frightened!panicked!
My Lord where art thou?
There he was-
His countenance making the angels bow.
