I'd love to see the ocean blue
and watch the waves caress the shore
to cruise beyond the breakers' view
and hear the surf begin to roar.

I'd love to find a quiet lake
to rest and contemplate life's plan
I'd travel 'round and sail across
to find the perfect place to tan.

I'd love to sit beside a stream
and smell the freshness of the air
to climb o'er boulders, rocks and beams
with icy crystals everywhere.

But for today, I do not need
a stream or lake or ocean wide
for my backyard is what I love
just riding on my slip'n slide.
