A chapter in the book The Heart of Poetry

Prejudice

by Carolyn 'Deaton' Stephens

Presuming what is
Requires a measure of truth
Eventually it will prevail
Judge not inaccurately as it could be you
Under no circumstance profile the offender
Determine to let the action of the person
In certain situations stand as their testimony
Circumstances are not always as they seem
Even when the obvious is obscured
