Too Ordinary

by victortouche

a walk, a pace, a place
senses...mine
a sense of time
and the will
to wrestle it

a garden
where simplicity grows
a life to love

tree house
sitting time
like poetry imprisoned
by structure

put on that t-shirt again...
ah, the dreams it contained

silent dusk
thunderstorm's
peaceful violence

such a time
when I spent it
like a sailor

now,
the storm rolls in-
a comfort
and companion to me

I seek the fall,
the turn,
the stirring
of tea leaves

a stumble
with confidence
becomes a dance
and I, the need
to tap it

Recognized

my muse forced me to sit, in stillness, at night, with music, and all that earthly delights. I hope you shut off the frontal cortex, and let your body enjoy this.
