HEARTS
loving
breakable
 
innocents smiling
predators- beguiling
uncaring eyes turn away
 
"some are flesh and blood, some cold clay"
 
                                                                         

                                                                                                                                (bookend) 


SOULS
damaged
crushed-  betrayed
 
plaintiff cries- dismayed
shrill mocking laughs invade 
failed quest- sought good intention
 
"closed eyes opening to redemption"
