Equality, What We Should Be

Equality, What We Should Be
So many we have lost I guess that is the cost Of fighting in a war Not responsible for Who gives to us the right To take up arms and fight? To dictate others' deeds And determine their needs? As a superpower What if we turn sour? Deciding to grab land In which we have no hand Civilizations fall When royalty does call To have all the power In their iv’ry tower Do we deceive all others Supposedly brothers To let us interfere When our role is unclear? A day will surely come When there will become some Unwilling to accept The role in which they’re kept They will want to be free Total autonomy Against us they will turn Perhaps then we will learn We’re not the very best Let us give it a rest Caring for our brother Loving one another ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ |
