I will wish upon a northern star
One that's bright
and not too far
One day at a wishing well
penny for my thoughts
only I can tell
Blowing out the candles
all will be done
sending up wishes
one
by
one
I close my eyes
on the fringe of sleep
and pray to God
with faith so deep.
