Hello God

How are you today?
Does anyone ever ask You that
or is it just
the why's and what's they ask?
I ask those too when I am feeling blue.
Do you ever get tired of that?
All of the tears and fears
and the I'm sorry's, then do it all over again?
There are so many wonderings and ponderings
to all of life's mysteries.
But then I see the little plaque
hanging on my bathroom wall,
"With God all things are possible," it reads
and there, you see, I have my answer.
Thank you this, thank you that, ever get tired of those?
not so much I suppose.
You don't often have much to say
but I appreciate when I do hear from You.
So thank you Lord for the words
you spoke not so long ago.
Very simple and quite direct aren't you?
Yes, I know, I am too (smile).
And oh my, the Blessings you have to do
each night and day
as we pray
"Bless Mother, Father, Sister, Brother..."
and the list goes on and on.
Oh Lord you must be a patient man.
But do any of us self-centered human beings
ask about you?
So here I say Lord, how are You
and how was Your day today?
I bet you had a busy day at work
as Your work truly never ends.
