Bonfire night, Unami Park, July 1972, Boone's Farm Apple wine, told her I loved her...
Away from the bonfire I leaned in for a sweet kiss. A shared bottle of wine, stranger's lips no more.
Lips locked, I gently began to explore her mouth and tongue. Breathing intensified. I pushed her against the tree and cupped her face with my palms. Lightly I bit and toyed with her lip.
We released. Chests heaving. Nose to nose, eyes locked I began to nuzzle her neck and nibble her ears.
Best night of my young life.
What was her name again?
