A Nonet

A chapter in the book The Heart of Poetry

Linger

by Carolyn 'Deaton' Stephens

Linger awhile and smile, daylight fades
Absorb with profundity the
Soft sweet sounds of early night
Revel in the warmth of
Balmy twilight's glow
Untroubled soul
Stellar peace
Blissful
Joy
