Yesterday I had the operation,
went smoothly.
I had to stay the night,
and was only allowed colourless fluids.
The ward was a bit of a shamble,
partly due to team nursing.

Robert had to wait very long,
before I arrived on the ward,
and we could see each other.
We both did not sleep very well
for different reasons.

Now the long wait for the result.
Tomorrow we collect Roxy,
she'll keep us busy.
