Similarities

by Carolyn 'Deaton' Stephens

Come walk this Way
Through fields of corn and wheat
Smile and greet
Each one you meet
And call them friend

Call them friend for they are Mine
A stranger is 'a frame of mind'
Similarities are many
Differences are few
Come walk this Way
Learn of Me, your zeal renew

Learn of Me, and zeal renew
Love each other, as I have loved you
Through fields of corn and wheat
As in Nations far and wide
And in our own where doubts abide
Smile and greet, each one you meet
And call them friend

Similarities are many
Differences are few
Learn to love, as I have loved you
Erase the doubts, subdue the fear
Your zeal renew for I am near

Come walk this Way
And follow Me
Be the best that you can be
Learn of Me and zeal renew
Similarities are many, differences are few
Follow me my friend, there's much to do
Learn of Me, I'm your friend too
For don't you know? It was I who created each of you.

Similarities are many
Differences are few
