Their eyes
Twinkling brightly
Like shining lights
On a caring face
Enduring empathy
Together
Forever

But they went into darkness

Treacherous in thoughts
Dangerous in deeds
They crafted discourse

They lie awake at night
Dreaming dreams
Like vultures
Ready to pounce
On my eternal flame
