Take me along
On a journey Through your world It is no matter Whether a bumpy gravel road Or slippery downward spiral I want to experience The carnival ride Or the sailboat glide Easy breeze and all That is your life I am done imagining (Although it's been fun) Those twist and turns When life had you frenzied The sudden stops Careless without restraint Our hair blowing care-free With the top down In the sportiest and hottest Candy apple red convertible In your town I've cried with you In shivering worry Through slick, icy cold corridors Of your wounded heart I found myself screaming As you lost control No warning No assurance I've stomped my invisible brake While in the passenger seat I've been angered At those who've broken your heart Delighted at your strong will Your determination encouraged me Especially when you stop to listen~ You hear the song in your spirit You sing it so loud It reverberates my being Yes! Now we're talkin'! I linger in your revelry Soak up your divine wisdom Journal your knowledge Now~ It is time for a vacation On a love cruise I see the invitation In your hot hands I feel the ticket in mine I taste the frozen margaritas I smell the salty air I anticipate your desires Remember when you took me there- A long time ago? I travel on your word cruise Delighted with you Frustrated by life's unexpected turns And completely stimulated In your sensual bliss Let's go~ |
