A hidden reality

A chapter in the book I Choose Rainbows

Contentment

by sholessjo

What is a flower without pollen
What is a bee without wings
What is life without purpose

Mysteries
Confusion walks our planet
And the questions we ask often have no answers
God. Creation, love and death
Are
Cognitively inconclusive

We think
We feel
We sense
We communicate
Yet
We cannot philosophize our existence

Our minds are chaotic
Doubts, fear, anxiety, depression
Run rampant in our thoughts
And the uncertainties make us unhappy

What is life's meaning

Maybe there is no answer
Maybe the question of being is just being
And the flower that attracts the bee
And the bee that spreads the pollen
That brings new life
Are just accidents

The beauty of it all
The majestic peace that fills are senses
Tranquilizes our soul
And brings serenity
We smile
And the love of nature
Overwhelms
Should we question why
Should we clutter our thoughts with infinite confusion
And realities that can't be explained
Maybe
There is no need for questions
Maybe
There is no need for answers
Maybe
Acceptance is contentment
