Tribute to Candy Land

Come to the castle to celebrate
called King Kandy to the land
for it is an enchanted place
I’ve quite a party planned

Set off on the rainbow path
where there’ll be all types of treats
but watch out for your licorice
it will tangle up your feet

Hurry to the Ice Cream Slopes
for a thrilling snowboard ride
zig-zag ‘round the cone-shaped peaks
with your best friend by your side

Relax a bit in Gummy Hills
while riding the ole choo choo
give a gumdrop ticket to bouncy bear
he’ll conduct this trip for you

Say hello to the gingerbread kids
who are building quite a house
do not disturb them as they work
be quiet as a mouse

Listen for the lollypops
clapping softly in the breeze
led by Princess Lolly who
sings as lovely as you please

Now move along for frosty fun
where you dance with Miss Frostine
she’ll be a most stylish host
in fact, she’s quite pristine

Don’t bypass the Chocolate Mountain
where Gramma Gooey’ll be your friend
with cocoa treats and chocolate drops
that never seem to end

King Kandy’s at the drawbridge
he’s been waiting just for you
to share his enchanted treasures
and a cup of cocoa, too
