A chapter in the book Dear Lexi

Morning Moon May Need a Shrink

by Rdfrdmom2

Nanny, Nanny, look up high
winter moon is in the sky
even tho' it's morning now
I wonder if he brought the cow
who likes to jump o'er him at night
or do you think t'would be a fright
to make a jump like that during day
without the stars to guide the way;
do you think the sun might think
winter moon may need a shrink ~
after all, he's out night and day
no matter what the textbooks say,
Nanny, Nanny, look up high
winter moon's in morning sky

When I picked up Lexi and her mom for church this morning, winter moon was in direct view as Lexi left her back door to get into my vehicle. She was sooooo excited to see the moon in the morning, yet again. Today's picture is actually the scene from the side of Lexi's car seat. The dark speck is a bird who also seemed fascinated with the winter moon.
Thanks for reading. love, jan
