annie hatchett's runaway groom (or is he)

Adam Groomer

by sweetwoodjax

My name is Adam Groomer. I have roamed this world for more than 200 years, thinking my beloved Annie had left me at the altar. I waited for her to show up at the church for more than three hours. but she never did. Broken hearted, I went to the local pub and kicked back a few drinks. My mouth got ahead of me and I provoked a fight. That night, my life ended and I was left to walk this world in search of my beloved Annie.

A few days ago, I was haunting the bedroom of a Fanstory writer. Imagine my surprise when I saw a picture of Annie's ghost. Oh, what a beautiful sight, a picture of beauty in front of my eyes! She looked so sad and yet so sweet in her wedding dress. Poor Annie thought I had left her, when actually she had gone to the wrong church. That girl never did have a sense of direction.

I am now heading to the church where my Annie still waits for me. Two hundred years is long enough for her to wait.

I wrote a witty epitaph about the Ghost of Annie Hatchett. I put out feelers on finding her a date. Deloralock suggested a ghost on her website but I couldn't find him. I used this work by her instead. Thank you Deloralock for the picture and the inspiration to continue her story.
