A Comet's Tail

by Writingfundimension

If I lassoed a comet's tail
And used it like a cosmic sail,
I'd ride the range of planet trails
Collecting stardust in my pail.

With giant crook, I'd like to hook
And hold on tight in case it shook
Orion's belt, and get a look
At planets found in science books.

Should galaxy be snagged afar
And kept inside a mason jar,
I'd sell a peek for one dollar
And likely be quite popular.
