Seasons

Walking among the tree laden forest of fallen leaves
Such beauty and grace not everyone sees

Tree after tree little squirrels run up and down
They're having a field day just like a clown

Fall is here winter is around the corner
I'm going to be soon a inside mourner

As I dislike the cold winter breeze
And the bareness that is upon the trees

Snow, white will soon come gracefully down
From the heavens above for I shouldn't frown

God has made the seasons for us to enjoy
As though we were children playing with a toy

A different kind of toy, from spring, Summer, Winter and Fall
For every season someone is enjoying having a ball

From rain in the spring, making pretty flowers grow
To swimming in the summer, that our children love so

Only to lead us into the colorful fall
For the children to find leaf piles to have a ball

With winter skiing, skating and sledding ahead
Better get the flannel sheets out, for your bed

With the change of the season our bodies do adapt very well
Just look at the people during that season and you can tell

They are dressed for the season
And for the right reason

God wanted us to enjoy what he hath made
Now, lets all give Him the passing grade!
