I have been wanting to write a triolet for Lexi for a long time. I wrote this shortly after she began walking which was shortly after her 1st birthday. One day, it struck me how fast my daughter, Cindy, had become 28, and a mother in her own right. That was the impetus for this attempt at a triolet.
