Easter Egg Hunt
by fionageorge
She has chocolate on her coat She has chocolate on her nose She's eating them so quickly She has chocolate on her toes She looks at them with hungry eyes Some wrapped in foil so pretty Some even have a little bow To eat them seems a pity One after one, she eats them all Chocolate’s sticking to her gums But the eggs are too darn tasty She'll eat them, whatever comes She watched the Easter Bunny Hide chocolate eggs all round But that silly Easter Bunny Hid them too close to the ground When the sun rises in the morning The kids search behind a log Instead of Easter eggs they find One chocolate coated dog! |

Something light for Easter. Please note: Dogs can die from eating chocolate. This is not meant to encourage anyone to feed dogs chocoalte. This poem has an Easter Bunny, and as such, the poem is like a nursery rhyme, innocent fantasy.
