poem explaining why we exist
It's all for the Love of Love

I am because I think... or do I think because I am? Do I exist for greater good, or is it all a sham? I rather like to think I think because I've always been A part of one great happy whole that we're all sharing in. If this be so, then here on earth, I merely am a guest, And it becomes my privilege, this whole to manifest. The love of God is broader than imagination's scope, That I exist reflecting love is my sincerest hope. When my frail body fades and dies and goes back to the dust, The form of energy must change and being-ness adjust. If I have loved with all my heart and cared with earnest soul, My purpose here is then fulfilled for I have reached my goal. |

This is a poem with 6 rhyming cuplets where each line has 14 syllables. I am using the U.S. English pronounciation for the word 'been' which is 'bin' and not the British English pronounciation, which is 'been' with a long e sound.
