This morning, I was sharing with friends at an elementary school how Lexi and I often "dance" after I've burped her. This led into a discussion of how one of my friends had adopted twins about 13 months ago. Just before I left to go do math Standards of Learning tutoring in my daughter's school (and classroom), my friend commented, "Babies rock." I just grinned and replied, "Yes, they do." Her comment has played in my head all day, finally resulting in the above haiku/senryu. I truly don't have a clue exactly how to distinguish one from the other so I try not to label them when I can avoid it. A special thanks to Carolisa for her artwork.
