A wonderful trip I remember so well
Going to Moravian book store was swell
Visiting with Mom and Dad Shortess was great
Laughing and talking as we sat  at the table and ate

I would look out the window as the snow hit the ground
With Christmas programs on it was a lovely sound
Listening to laughter from downstairs made me happy
Nothing about these trips were ever sad or sappy

It's a place that is always filled with lots of love and fun
From the start of each day until the setting of the sun
Thinking about all the fun we had makes me smile
It holds precious memories and I will again enjoy each mile
