Listen to the wise old owl

Wise Words

by NanaGaye

There was an owl sitting in a tree

He opened his mouth and said ‘It’s me.’

The tree was talking of the things he saw

Some things, he tried to ignore

‘I know said the bird’

The World’s gone absurd

They agreed there was nothing they could do

'It’s really not up to me and you.'

The wise old owl said ‘It’s up to mankind.’

Let’s hope some wisdom they will find.
