Whimsical, innocent infatuation.

Found

Found

I couldn't find my crooked smile
'Til your laughter filled the air.
I hadn't found the sun awhile
'Til its light bounced off your hair.
So I found a checkered blanket
And the perfect picnic view;
If you could find some time for me,
I'd give all of mine to you.

I found the morning every night
From our talks that last 'til dawn.
I found my fiery soul in flight
On the same cloud yours is on.
So I found a pair of bicycles
And a meadow to ride them through;
I found the joy of being found
The moment I found you.

A Milestone Post

It's been a long time since I've shared my work, but after being inspired recently, and with some convincing, here is one of my latest. It doesn't follow any strict rules, but I wrote it for someone who doesn't much care for rules.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
