A not very nice dinner....

~ Shoe Stew ~

My son-in-law pretends to cook
Should've followed the recipe book
Bless his heart ~he tried his best
It failed miserably the tasting test
 
We can't eat if we tried
It needs help I can't provide
The meats so tough ~ a shoe indeed
Stray dogs won't eat it I guarantee
 
Potatoes are cooking in the pot
Rock hard and edible they are not
Carrots in the water but undercooked too
Almost done creating famous Shoe Stew
 
I can't explain the mess he's made
We're hungry so call the take out brigade
He's afraid to cook it too long
In the kitchen he doesn't belong
 
I'll never try Shoe Stew again 
What a waste but down the drain
Thanks for trying but you failed
Dinners been officially derailed!!
