Who Is That Guy?

by HarryT

Mirror contest Contest Winner

Who is that stranger staring from the mirror?
He has wrinkles carved by stories unfolded
Eyes that hold the wisdom of experiences
A face that bears marks of battles endured

Hair once voluminous black, now a thin silver crown
Skin with furrows etched, yet his spirit seems unbound
Hands that now trembled, once so strong and sure
A lifetime seen, unreeling on the screen of his mind

He sees love, loss, fears and glorious happiness
A journey etched through time, with pride, untold
That guy may be old, but still a glint of light shines
Looking ahead for things yet to do and places to tread
