Penny Paints For The Craft Show

by Boogienights

Penny Penelope Applebee
was very excited today to be,
going to the craft show where artists would meet,
at the church hall, just down the street.
Penny made sea scenes with  seashells to sell,
she hoped at the craft show all would go well.

Penny Penelope Applebee,
carefully packed up her scenes of the sea.
Each canvas was made with lots of care,
Penny just couldn't wait to share.
The money being raised, to the church they'd donate,
Penny hurried so she wouldn't be late.

Penny Penelope Applebee
and her mom displayed pictures for all to see.
Penny was proud when her work was praised,
many were sold, lots of money was raised.
Mom bought cookies from the bakery table,
they both snacked on them when they were able.

Penny Penelope Applebee
was so excited by all she could see.
There were tables of necklaces with colorful beads,
woven pot holders that everyone needs.
Paintings, pottery, great wooden toys,
made especially for young girls and boys.

Penny Penelope Applebee
was happy to sell all her scenes of the sea.
The artists raised lots of money that day,
that the church would use in lots of great ways.
The money would go to help those in need,
all who contributed were happy indeed.

Penny Penelope Applebee
went home with mom to their house by the sea.
It was a fun but tiring day,
and after dinner, she was in bed to stay.
Mom and dad were proud that she did her part,
by making and selling her beautiful art.
