A poem about a moment of weakness

Cigarette

The smoke from the cigarette crawled
Up her nose
And groped her brain
In a hazy embrace
While she sat in soot and gravel
 
Her lungs gasped
And clenched on to the reflection
Of pink peaches
In a sunlit kitchen
 
Pearls of the sea shined above her
Pure
Beautiful
 
And they were all
That she was not
