Just a thought about I

The Ninth Glyph

by JLR

Standing ramrod straight
between a humpy “h”
and fishhook “j”
the  “i”  sez more
than meets the eye.

“i”  rhymes with
words such as ay
to express emotion,
and aye to express accent.
and don't we know some accents
create, at times, quite the emotions.

But “I”,  just often,
expresses a first-person.
As a singular pronoun.
Geez, shebang, wow!

But, then, in the English language,
there is a whole lot more
to glyphs than meets the eye
with “I”.

For me, my physical form,
myself, my soulful self,
and I, my spiritual one,
we are the same old “I”.

Just a simple glyph.
My, oh, my!
